I am not a professional appliance repairman. So I can help any other DIY'ers. The bolt that holds this agitator in is a left handed bolt which requires an extra deep 1- 5/16 socket. A normal deep socket will not work. And loosens clockwise.

Auger would spin in both directions but not spin while washing
Used a Phillips screw driver to lock the top and bottom of auger. Took a while to separate from base. Used another driver to remove old base and put the new one on with nut driver. Placed auger on base and turned to lock. Job done and works great. Thanks

I can't seperate the auger from the agitator. Whats the answer?

Hello David, thank you for contacting us. You may need to follow these instructions for the removal of the agitator: 1. Remove the fabric softener dispenser. 2. Align the raised bump with the opening on the auger. 3. Use the screwdriver to puncture through the inner shaft of the auger and twist it clockwise until the auger releases. 4. Unscrew the bolt on the base of the agitator and lift it up. 5. Install the agitator back by reversing the same procedure. We hope this helps!
