Electric Drill Housing Assembly
PartSelect Number PS12508695
Manufacturer Part Number N413423
This OEM housing assembly in your impact driver is the protective outer casing that encloses the internal components of the tool, providing structural support. The assembly consists of both the top and bottom sides and it operates using a 20-volt battery. To identify if the housing assembly is broken, look for visible cracks, fractures, or loose components. Excessive vibration or unusual noises during operation can also indicate a problem. To replace the housing assembly, remove all the screws and separate the case. Transfer all the components from the old case to the new one, ensuring switches like the forwards and reverse switch and power settings are properly aligned. Then, reassemble the case by putting all the screws back in using a screwdriver with a Torx bit. Note that the screws are sold separately from the housing.

Manufacturer Part Number 22-18-0680
Genuine Milwaukee replacement part. Includes 1 Carbon Brush with wire lead, brush spring and bracket attached. • Worn brushes frequently are the cause behind a motor running poorly. • Replacing brushes can fix a motor that's operating intermittently. • New brushes can restore a motor's electric braking. This is because carbon brushes are wear items, meaning that through friction and use they will gradually wear away until they need replacing. Worn brushes are a common causes of intermittent motor function, reduced electric braking and reduced motor power. A worn-out brush will often be worn down near to the wire lead and can be cracked, pitted, or burned. When replacing carbon brushes, be sure to inspect your armature for burns, cracks, or other damage which can indicate larger motor problems.

Manufacturer Part Number CB303
This set of two carbon brushes is a genuine Makita replacement part, packaged in an official Makita retail box. Each brush includes wire leads and attached brush springs, and is designed to restore optimal performance in compatible Makita tools. Carbon brushes are among the most commonly replaced components in power tools, as they gradually wear down through friction and regular use. Worn brushes can lead to intermittent motor function, reduced power, or diminished electric braking. Replacing them can resolve these issues and restore proper motor performance. Signs of wear include brushes worn near the wire lead, or those that are cracked, pitted, or burned. When replacing carbon brushes, it’s also important to inspect the armature for any signs of damage, such as burns or cracks, which may indicate a more serious motor issue.
