This authentic OEM carbon brush set is designed for use in the motor assembly of angle grinders. It includes two brushes, each equipped with lead wires, and is responsible for transferring electrical current to the armature, enabling the motor to function. Over time, carbon brushes naturally wear down due to friction, aging, and frequent use. A worn brush may fail to maintain contact with the armature, leading to reduced power output or complete motor failure. If other motor-related issues have been ruled out, replacing the brushes may restore performance. To perform the repair, first unplug the angle grinder from the power source. Locate and remove the brush holders on the side of the motor housing, then replace the faulty brushes with the new ones. Reinstall the brush holders and ensure proper contact between the brushes and the armature.
