Temperature of water is always hot, no matter what you select.Its about 4-5 months old. Both the cold and hot water supply valves are both open.

Thank you for your question. If you are not getting any cold water, there are some parts that you will need to check to see which one is causing the issue. You will need to check the inlet hoses and screens, the water inlet valve, the lid lock, the selector switch assembly and the electronic control board. When my washer fills w/water (once it is full) it immediately drains. I have ran thru the binary codes while in service mode, twice now. I have performed all the tests 1-15 and everything works fine. It doesn't throw a single code. But when I get out of service mode, return to normal mode. I select a wash cycle (doesn't matter which cycle I select it does the same in every wash cycle) hit the start button and let the tub fill once the tub is full instead of going into wash mode it begins draining. Please help me. Thank you
Hello Ken, Thank you for the question. This could indicate the Timer is not proceeding through the cycles properly and skipping to the Drain Cycle. The timer for this model is built into the Control Board and the Board may need to be replaced. We hope this helps!
GE top load washer. It is making a noise -squeeking sound during wash cycle. Pulled washer away from wall and there is a spot under the washer that appears to be grease or oil.
