PartSelect Price Match Policy

At PartSelect, we are committed to providing customers with confidence in their purchase, while offering transparent, competitive pricing on OEM replacement parts. That’s why we offer a Price Match Policy to ensure you get the best value for OEM replacement parts. Please read the details below carefully before submitting a request. This policy applies to all U.S. customers and is compliant with applicable consumer protection and advertising laws.

Eligibility Requirements

To qualify for a price match, your request must meet all the following conditions:

  • Identical OEM Items:
    The item being price matched must be OEM-verified and the exact same brand and part number. All item attributes (color, size, specifications) must match exactly. Substitutes, aftermarket parts, or alternate versions are ineligible.
  • Qualifying Retailers:
    The lower price must be from a US based, established, e-commerce retailer that specializes in OEM replacement parts. We do not match prices from: auction sites (e.g. eBay), marketplace platforms (e.g., Amazon Marketplace, Walmart Marketplace), daily deal or flash sale sites, aftermarket sellers, peer-to-peer platforms or liquidators, or Sellers not authorized to distribute OEM parts.
  • Product Availability:
    The competitor must have the identical item in stock and available for immediate shipping at the time the price match is reviewed. Products marked with any type of “limited quantity”, “backorder”, or “out-of-stock” status are ineligible.
  • Product Condition:
    The item must be new, unopened, and factory-sealed. Refurbished, used, open-box, clearance, or damaged items do not qualify for price matching.
  • Price Comparison Criteria:
    We match the advertised, publicly available pre-tax price including economy shipping and handling costs. Pricing must be verifiable and current at the time of our review, not the time of purchase or request. Historical pricing will not be honored.

Discounts, promotions, or pricing available through coupon codes, loyalty or membership programs, military or student discounts, bulk/pro pricing programs, and flash sales or time-limited events are not eligible for matching.

How to Submit a Price Match Request

If you find a lower eligible price from a qualifying competitor on a part you purchased from PartSelect within 14 days of purchase, you may submit a Price Match Request Form to receive a refund for the difference.

Fill out our Price Match Request Form. Please note, if you are wishing to request price matching on more than one part, you will need to submit a separate request form for each part you would like to request. Each form must include the following information:

  • Your order number
  • The email address you used with your order.
  • The part number of the OEM item you wish to request a price match for
  • A link to the competitor’s product page for the part in question

Our Price Match Review Team will evaluate your request within 3–5 business days. If approved, a refund for the price difference will be issued to your original payment method normally within 3-7 business days of approval. You will be contacted via email with the status of your request either way, once our team has reviewed it.

Refund Amount

If your price match request is approved:

  • We will refund the difference in the item’s pre-tax price between our product and the eligible competitor’s offer.
  • Sales tax, shipping, or handling charges are not included in the refund.
  • The refund will be issued to your original payment method.

Additional Terms & Limitations

  • Only the original purchaser may request a price match
  • Requests may be limited to standard consumer quantities as determined by PartSelect in its sole discretion. Requests suspected of abuse or commercial intent may be declined.
  • PartSelect reserves the right to reject any request that does not meet the above criteria.
  • This policy is subject to change, including discontinuation at any time without notice, but any changes will not affect price match requests already submitted prior to the change.
  • Decisions made by the Price Match Review Team are final.
  • Customer service agents cannot approve price matches in real time via phone, live chat, or email. All requests must go through the official online form process outlined above for consistent documentation and fairness.
