In 2024, PartSelect celebrated 25 years of helping customers repair their home appliances with OEM parts. PartSelect's parent company, Eldis Group, has been doing it for even longer, serving do-it-yourselfers for closer to 80 years, since 1945!

When PartSelect opened its virtual doors in 1999, the team was small but focused on a company mission: to help customers find and buy OEM parts online and complete repairs quickly and easily from the comfort of their homes. From its infancy, PartSelect was more focused on serving businesses with repair parts, but gradually expanded its reach and found its home in homeowners and DIY enthusiasts who knew there had to be a better way than replacing their appliances or calling a technician to their homes every time something went wrong. Fast forward 25 years and the team and company are much larger, but the goal remains steadfastly the same. With 11 million customers who have saved almost $3 billion in home repairs and an inventory of over 2 million repair parts to support our goals, we can't wait to see what the next 25 years will bring.

A Passionate Team That's Here to Help

A company can't keep performing without an expert, loyal, enthusiastic workforce. Over the years the PartSelect team has helped hundreds of thousands of customers solve their appliance and equipment problems, and built a modern and secure website with a vast library of articles, videos, photos, and resources to help every step of the way. Some of our team has been with us for as long as the website has been alive, and many others have been here for almost that long. As we approached 25 years, we sat down with some of our longest-serving crew to find out what they've loved most about working for PartSelect for so long.

My favorite part of working at PartSelect? It was always the interaction with people. I always enjoyed helping customers and I still do to this day. Not as much in my current position as when I was a call center representative, but I still do. I will always look after the customer above all else, and I want to say a big thank you to our loyal customers. Without the customer base, you don't have a company, it's as simple as that.

I want to tell you a story about a customer who called back in 2016. Nobody could help him fix his appliance. He was at wits' end, it was Christmas, and he didn't know what to do. I did some research while we were chatting and he finished the task while I was on the phone and he was very grateful that I was able to help him fix his appliance. I just want to thank all the customers like him who come to us for help - even if they don't purchase a part, we're still here to help you fix your appliance. That's PartSelect's legacy, I believe.
