This engine stop switch wire terminal is typically located on the engine near the flywheel, with a wire running to the switch, which would be located by the control area in your lawn power equipment. It connects the engine stop switch to the ignition system, helping you to turn off your machine by pressing a switch. If the switch fails to respond, your terminal is defective. You must replace it immediately as your machine will continue to run when you want it to stop. To begin this repair, you need to turn your machine off and let the engine cool. Grasp onto the terminal connector using a pair of pliers and carefully pull the wire away from the terminal.
