Refrigerator Ice Maker Assembly
PartSelect Number PS12364147
Manufacturer Part Number 241798231
This 8-cube ice maker is used to create ice for your refrigerator. The ice maker receives water from the water inlet valve and will freeze until ice cubes are formed. If your ice maker is not making ice you may need to replace this part. Please remember to disconnect the power and water supply before starting your repair. This ice maker is a genuine OEM part.

Drive Gear
PartSelect Number PS2349843
Manufacturer Part Number 5304469403
The ejector drive gear is a part for your refrigerator. This icemaker drive gear is for the ejector blades. The part rotates the cube ejector arm, which cycles the icemaker and pushes the cubes out and into the ice bucket, ready for the ice to be used. The outside diameter of this piece is almost two inches by two inches. The reason for needing to replace your gear is if the current one is broken/missing a tooth, or if your icemaker is not dispensing ice and is noisy.

Irvin from Anaheim, CA
Icemaker flooded the storage container box for cubes. Then froze solid.
Ordered the Part after looking at the choices shown, once I inspected the unit. I then knew by looks what would fit. THEN (important) went on Utube asking for video instructions. They had it on the computer and it was just too easy. What took the longest was the removable of the frozen food items and the drawers in the Bottom Freezer section. Perfect product, perfect instructions, perfect job and worked perfectly!

Ice Maker Stopped Working
It was pretty straight forward. Remove the two screws that hold the unit to the wall of the freezer. In my case, I had to use a different ice maker than what came with the frig. In order to install the replacement unit they sent a wire adaptor so it would attach to the existing wiring. That too was all fine and dandy. The only problem was that the end of the wire adaptor did not fit through the existing hole in the rear of the frig. I used a utility knife to cut through the thin metal lining. That worked just fine. However, I could not cut through the insulation because I could not reach it through the small hole. The excess wire was supposed to be pulled through the hole and out through the back of the unit. So now the excess is between the wall of the freezer and the insulation. The unit is working wonderfully. In fact, it is making more ice than I can use. I am very pleased with the replacement unit. This is the 3rd ice maker that has been in this frig. All the others had a design flaw that had a leak in the rear of the unit. This caused all the ice to form into a big block. The replacement unit has not had this problem so far. Thank you for allowing me to explain my situation so that maybe others may benifit from my experience. Thank you. Jack

Getting the ice maker support bracket back into position on the door.
I followed the repair video provided by your website. Overall, very accurate. Only problem was finding the exact fit for the ice maker mounting bracket. In the end, it was my inexperience refitting the unit into the door slot.

Ice Container
PartSelect Number PS430380
Manufacturer Part Number 240385201
The ice bin, located in a freezer, is a storage container used for storing ice. Ice cubes collect there after they are made. If your bin is cracked or damaged, it is best to replace this part. To repair, first open your freezer door and dump any leftover ice residing in bin before removing it. Next, release ice bin from assembly by releasing the locking tabs. With a flathead screwdriver, flex the tabs inwards on each side. Make sure to bend them enough to unlock and pull assembly from the ice bucket. Line up the new ice bin with assembly before installing it. Refer to the manual provided by the manufacturer for further installation instructions.
