PartSelect Number PS3655242
Manufacturer Part Number 316112005
The anti-tip bracket kit comes with one metal bracket and two installation screws, and is sourced directly from the genuine manufacturer. It prevents the freestanding oven, range, or stove from tipping when force or weight is applied to an open oven door. The bracket is secured to the floor and wall and fits over the rear leveling leg in the back of the appliance, in a cutout specifically designed for the anti-tip bracket. anti-tip bracket not installed
I was selling my home and did not realize that the anti-tip bracket was not originally installed. A home inspection caught the problem and the buyers required that I install one. I could not find the original and obviously the installer never put it in place to begin with. The buyers wanted this resolved within a week so I had to act fast. I could not find one locally so I found what I needed on your website. It arrived in a couple of days and was easy to install. I used the template provided in the kit and drove the screws through the bracket into the wood plate behind the drywall. Pushed the range back in place and that's it. Couldn't get any easier. Both oven bake and broil elements lost power suddenly at the same time.
Installation of the temparature sensor, one of the technician recommended parts took no time, just two screws and a snap off/snap on part. It did not fix the problem. I then replaced the main control panel, which requires more work, but didn't solce the ussue either. I then replaced the thermal fuse, which wasn't mentioned by tech support, and required much more disassebly of the top panels of the stove, with still no fix to the problem. I am waiting to replace the thermostat heat sensor unit, the only other part in the circuit controlling power supply, requiring removal of the stove top again, Read more...

Oven Bake Igniter
★★★★★
★★★★★
(13)
PartSelect Number PS2364063
Manufacturer Part Number 316489403
The oven burner igniter simply ignites the gas so it can heat the oven burner. The igniter does this by drawing electrical currents through the oven safety valve to open it. If the element shortens out, is no longer glowing, or is only glowing red or orange, replacing the igniter is the solution. You will need a wire splicing tool to do this repair. First, disconnect the wire harness from the igniter by removing the access panel on the rear of the stove. Next, access the front of oven and take out the racks before removing the bottom of the oven. For the rest of the installation instructions refer to the diagram provided by the manufacturer. Remember to unplug your oven from the power source before beginning this project.

Stovetop worked, oven did not.
First, remove the warming drawer. This allows access to the igniter's plug. Unplug the igniter. The rest of the job is performed within the oven. Remove the bottom (1/4 inch socket). Then remove the next, v shaped piece. The igniter is bolted to the aerator. Remove bolts, and it pulls right off. Reverse these to install new igniter. Read more...
