We recommend that these be replaced at the same time, this allows for optimal performance and ensures they wear evenly. Each drum glide is approximately 33 inches in length. If the following symptoms occur, consider replacing the drum guide as a solution: dryer is noisy, will not tumble, or leaves marks on clothes. Remember to unplug the power source to the dryer before installing this part. Refer to the diagram provided by the manufacturer for further instructions and guidance.

The drum wrapper on our dryer was coming apart in the back, causing the metal drum to tear apart and causing the drum to not roll properly.

I had to take the whole thing apart to replace the drum wrapper. I followed this very helpful YouTube video for the step-by-step instructions on disassembly.

I had only seen a one piece rack .The 2 piece threw me for a loop.

I thought I had checked the arm piece of the rack real good for a product number on my original part but I missed the number till the 2nd box came in, and a looked real careful and realized it was the same as the order I thought was bad.
Put the spring arm in first and the rack will fit in the front groove.
It would have been good if there had been a picture of the dryer arm attached to the dryer.
So I have 2 good racks and will return one if you tell me where to send it.
