multiple parts were needed to repair my washer

Initially I thought just the timer knob would take care of my washer not working, but that was too naive of me, lol.
I had to replace the timer knob & clip, the compression dial and the agitator and the agitator coupling.

Agitator Coupling Replacement..

Pry the cap off of the top of the agitator, then one 7/16 bolt to remove the agitator (takes around 15" of extensions to reach the bolt and there is a small o-ring under the bolt that you don't want to miss).

Timer knob was broken AND it was falling down from center

First I unplugged the washer and removed the old knob and compression ring hoping that the new ones would be centered. knob twirled.

Handle plate would'nt turn

Pulled off the handle with the kneedle nose pliers replaced the plastic piece in that, then pulled off the plate that turns the machine on and just snapped the new one on. Only took seconds and saved alot of money. Considering just to have a repair man come to see what was wrong would have cost me $88.00.

Dial Spins Too Freely

The grooves on the bottom of the control knob were worn away. I just pushed the timer knob clip off of the underside of the knob, removed it from the washer and put the new knob on and put the clip back on. It was a piece of cake!
