It’s been making a noise occasionally when we first start it, a few times it appeared to shoot sparks into cooking area from right side. Restarting it has always stopped the noise. I tried several restarts, still made noise then I smelled electrical burn smell. Any idea what part needs replaced?

Hi Steven, thank you for getting in touch. The power loss in both your microwave and refrigerator is likely caused by a tripped circuit breaker due to an electrical overload. Ensure that the circuit breaker is not weak. If it is fine, the issue could be with the high-voltage diode, part number PS12342226. You may need to replace it to fix the issue. We hope this solves your problem!
