Simple to change - original one broke
I bought two. You never know. Saved me from buying the whole bulb mechanism, which isn’t available any more. Use care pushing the bulb holder onto the new lens. After installation be careful not to bump the bulb holder.

age & solivents melted the on pilot light lens
removed the wooden cutter block rt side top and the air exst.vent guard lf side then with a phileps driver 2 screws holding the control knob assm.in. both control knob assm.rt&lf come off the same way. just scraped out what that was left of the old lens stuck in new one and reatached light bulb holder. this bulb holder presses on and slid

broken sens
removeed the dial cover, paced the lens into the hole, slid the light and holder into place , 5 min job.

Infinite Switch failed, burner would not heat
Removed two screws holding 4-switch panel, drew a simple diagram to assure placement of wires on correct terminals, removed and replaced switch.
Switch works fine, but original knob does not fit shaft of replacement switch. Will try to order new knob, but it probably won't match the old knobs, so range will have one new knob

surface unit infinite switch needed replaced. The knobs and lens were cosmetic.
First I removed the two screws that hold the element in place. I then pulled the element out about 3 inches and disconnected the wires and replaced the connections in sequence. It was easy. IT LOOKS LIKE THE JENN AIR COUNTERTOP ELECTRIC STOVE INDICATOR LIGHT LENS THAT YOU ARE ADVERTISING IS THE LONG NECKED TYPE. DO YOU HAVE ANY OF THE SHORT ONES FOUND ON EARLIER MODELS USING THE SAME BASE ASSEMBLY???
