My ice machine can work, but it has no water, I replaced the water inlet valve and circulating water pump, but it still has no water, what could be the reason?

Hello Zhenzhen, thank you for writing. You can check the Water Distributor Tube PS11738017 or the Water Tube Kit PS11730901. If your refrigerator is leaking, or if the ice and water dispensers are not dispensing properly, you may need to replace this tube. KUIC15NLTS1, built in 2008. My machine passed all the factory diagnostics when running. My problem is the machine functions, makes ice and then stops working. Open the door and no light comes on, machine is dead. Power is getting to the control board and transformer. I let the machine sit unplugged powered it back on and it went back to making ice and the after a few days shut down again. I replaced the control board with a used own. Replaced it, powered up and it made ice, after a few days the machine powered down again, exact same symptoms. Very frustrated, seems odd both boards would have the same problem.

Hello Mike, thank you for contacting us. Check the condenser coils. Dirty condenser coils or blocked airflow can cause the unit to overheat, leading to the high-pressure safety switch or the compressor's thermal protector to trip. Thoroughly clean the condenser coils and ensure adequate ventilation around the machine. Check the transformer, part number PS11740309, it might be failing intermittently under load or as it heats up, preventing the correct low voltage from reaching the control board components. The lights on the control panel flicker and flash along with the interior light when the door is open. The machine doesn't work when it does this. Is it the electrical control board you think?

The water & temperatures panel on the front is flashing & the water dispenser open & closes.

Icemaker will not come on when on button is pushed, no lights,no nothing

Hello Mary, Thank you for the question. If the appliance will not power on and start, with no lights ect. Check to make sure the outlet it is plugged into is working and sending power to the appliance. You can test the power cord with a multi meter to makes sure it is operating. It is possible the Electronic Control Board PartSelect Number PS11748974 is defective and needs to be replaced. Hope this helps!
