Samsung Washer Drive Belt

The drum belt attaches to the motor pulley and causes the drum to spin as the motor is rotating. The drum belt is made of black rubber. This is an easy repair and should only take a few minutes. This goes between the drive motor and the dryer drum. The belt may have broken, which will cause the drum to not turn properly. You will need to pull your dryer away from the wall and use your Phillips screwdriver to remove the screws on the back. This is an OEM product, shipped directly from the manufacturer.

Samsung Washer Idler Pulley Assembly

This idler pulley assembly is sourced from the original manufacturer for use in dryers. The assembly includes the pulley wheel and bracket. It is found near the motor where it provides tension to the dryer belt, allowing it to rotate the drum during the drying cycle. Over time, the pulley wheel and its bearings can wear out leading to squeaking and grinding noises when the drum rotates. The bracket or pulley wheel can also fall out of alignment which can damage the belt and cause it to slip off. Eventually, a faulty idler pulley assembly will prevent the drum from rotating altogether. Depending on your dryer model, you may need to disassemble the dryer to access the pulley assembly. Remove the dryer belt from the idler pulley wheel and detach the assembly from the dryer frame. Position the new assembly in its place and secure it in position. Thread the belt over the pulley and around the dryer drum, ensuring that the grooved side lays flat against the drum. Manually spin the drum to check that the belt is properly tensioned and reassemble your appliance.

Watched a video on utube, how to repair my 16 month old steam dryer. The hardest part was laying on my belly holding the spring loaded tensioner and slipping the belt on around the blower housing. Only cost me $23. Winning!

Top Load washer would not drain to complete spin cycle.
Though I could hear and feel the drain pump running, the washer would not drain. This model does not have a filter for the drain pump. I lowered the discharge hose from the stand up pipe on the wall, and lowered it to the floor. Water ran right out, so no blockage in the drain system. After removing the inlet and outlet hoses to the pump, a quick inspection showed the impeller on the motor was off the shaft and flopping around. Bingo, motor runs but cant pump. Ordered from Partselect and received in ONE DAY. I really didn't want to go back to it that soon, but they certainly did their part. Ha. Thank you all. Greg Read more...

Samsung Washer Shock Damper Front

This is an individually sold front shock absorber designed for use with Samsung dryers. Shock absorbers are used to distribute the weight of the dryer drum evenly and ensure that the different bumps and bounces that occur during the drying cycle are smoothed and counter acted. A broken shock absorber is noticeable by the amount of noise your dryer will make during operation. Replacing this absorber and its rear counterpart may even be necessary to the lifespan of the other dryer parts, so be sure to inspect both absorbers before ordering.
