Sample Model Number Tags
Model numbers can be made up of numbers (1005400, for example) or a combination of letters and numbers (LAT1000AAE). The model number will most likely appear on either a paper sticker or a metal plate. Your appliance's model number tag may look similar to the sample model number tags shown here (model number highlighted in yellow):
This is a manufacturer approved replacement part used on lawn and garden equipment. The push rod rides on the camshaft to push the exhaust valve open during the exhaust stroke. A bent push rod can not only affect your engine's performance, it can seriously damage other parts if the problem is not taken care of immediately. This part is made out of metal and it is sold individually.
How Buying OEM Parts Can Save You Time and Money
Why buy the real thing?
OEM stands for Original Equipment Manufacturer. Simply put, this means that the company who made your appliance is also supplying the replacement part for it.

why doesn't the exhaust rocker arm move? new pushrod. old one was bent.
For model number 31C707-0005- G1
Hello Bill, thank you for your question. We are unclear as to the cause of the rocker arm not moving. The correct Exhaust Push Rod is PS9066108. The Rocker Arm is PS9063405. There is a testimonial on our site on how a customer did his repair. We hope this helps. Remove valve cover. Remove rocker arms and rocker arm bolt stands. Remove and replace push rod guides. Reinstall rocker arm stands and rocker arms. Install push rod in correct position.(Make sure you put the Aluminum rod in the Intake position and the Steel rod in the Exhaust position) Adjust clearance as required. Reinstall valve cover and gasket. Run engine and check for oil leaks. Good luck with this repair.
