Washer starts with 2 bursts of water but will not fill, agitate, or spin on any cycle. Pump runs. Drain and spin function may start with 2 bursts of water, lid will lock, pump will run. Then, does not spin. Circuit board has been replaced. Is the motor faulty?

Hello Joe, thank you for reaching out. We have concluded that the issue is with the water inlet valve, part number PS12726768. We would recommend replacing it to solve the problem. Glad to be of assistance!
Washer fills with water but doesn't agitate or spin out. Could it be the motor?
For model number GTW465ASN1WW
Hello Phil, thank you for your question. One of the parts to check is the Mode Shifter PS16554752. Mode shifters are designed to change the function of the washing machine motor, between spinning cycles and agitation, and is usually installed at the bottom of the washer. If your washing machine is not spinning or agitating during its washing cycle, or if it simply does not start, this shift actuator is likely bad and in need of replacing. The next part to check is the Clutch PS11729473 or the Belt PS12299369. We hope this helps.
clothes are soaked after spin cycle, there is no water in the tank

Hi Tom, thank you for reaching out. We would suggest checking the drain hose for clogging first. If it is fine, the issue could be with the drain pump assembly, part number PS12723115. You may need to replace it to fix the issue. We hope this sorts out your problem!
Hi! For about 3 weeks my washer was extremely loud when spinning. It ran one cycle and did not spin out, now it only will shot out to spits of water and will not do anything else. The belt was checked and is fine do I need a new motor?

Hi Jennifer, thank you for getting in touch. As the belt is fine, before replacing the drive motor, we would suggest checking the drain pump, part number PS12723115. You may need to replace it to fix the issue. We hope this solves your problem!

Hi Betty, thank you for contacting us. We have concluded that the issue is with the mode shifter, part number PS16554752. It shifts the washer drive system between agitation and spin modes. You may need to replace the mode shifter to fix the issue. We hope this helps, good luck with this repair!
