Does this model have a recirculating pump?

Sometimes skips rinse cycle. Sometimes adds water after drain and spins.

Hi Ken, thank you for contacting us. The issue could be with the tub bearings. They come attached to the transmission assembly, part number PS16729509. You may need to replace it to fix the issue. We hope this solves your problem!
The transmission spline do not rotate during the wash cycle. The Shifter/Clutch has been replaced. The unit fill with water, rinse and spins during the diagnostic test but the wash cycle do not work. The spline on the agitator is not damaged and the spline on the gear case is not damaged. The agitator spins freely by hand both directions under no load. During the wash cycle, you can hear the sound as if the agitator is oscillating for washing but the agitator do not move.
Hello Benjamin, thank you for the question. Check the agitator, part number PS16542670. Even if the splines look undamaged visually, the inner plastic teeth inside the hub can be stripped while the spline profile still appears intact. Also, confirm the hub bolt has not backed out, if the hub is not properly secured to the transmission shaft it will spin independently and transfer no torque to the agitator. If the hub and bolt are secure, the internal gearcase, part number PS16729509 has likely failed. If the internal gear train has broken or a shear pin has failed, the transmission cannot deliver oscillating torque to the output spline. We hope this is what you were looking for!

Very simple to repair. Be sure to drain the tub outside or into the sump pump then lay the washer on its side. The pump is right there on the bottom of the basket with 3 bolts. You will also need to remove the belt cover to get to the plug. So simple and saves you hundreds off repair man prices.
