Water is not flowing into the ice tray to make ice, however water through the door is working fine. Also we replaced the ice maker itself with no help.
For model number KRSC503ESS00
Hello Linda, thank you for the question. This sounds like an issue with the Water Inlet Valve, PartSelect Number PS11753250. The ice maker side could be blocked or defective. You can also check to see if the water filter needs to be replaced or if the water lines are froze. Hope this helps, good luck with this repair!

Water dispenser and ice maker make a clacking noise and low water coming out l just replaced filter
For model number WRF560SEYM02
Hello Rich, thank you for your question. It sounds like there is air in the water lines. This happens sometimes when the filter is replaced. Remove the filter and soak it in water. Reinstall the filter and see if that helps the issue. If not, you may need to bleed the lines by depressing the water paddle at the dispenser and let it flow for 5 second. Remove the glass and wait another 5 seconds. Repeat until the water flows continuously and fills 2 or 3 full water glasses. There are also videos online that will show you how to remove air from the water lines on the fridge. I hope this helps!

Water not flowing sometimes. Changed filter, sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't
For model number WRS526SIAH00
Hello Stanley, thank you for your question. First we would recommend removing the filter to see if the water works consistently. If it does, you have an issue with the filter or filter housing. If the issue persists with the water filter out, test the water valve to be sure its working. If those parts are not the issue, the dispenser control board may be the culprit. Here is a link that will give information on testing that valve.

Ice maker wants to fill but no water coming in
For model number KFFS20EYMS00
Hi Brian, thank you for your question. There are two parts that you should check for this issue. The first part to test would be your water inlet valve. The valve has two solenoids that control either the dispenser or the ice maker. Even if your dispenser is working the ice maker solenoid may not be and vise versa. The valve can be tested with a multi meter and should be reading between 500 - 1500 ohms of resistance. If that part is testing correctly then you should look into your ice maker being the issue. I hope that helps. Good luck with your repair.

Ice maker does not fill with water. Changed water inlet valve and replaced ice maker. Still nothing. Shut off arm stuck in off position. Not frozen wàter line. Changed filter. What else could it be?
For model number 106.5113
Hello Pamela, thank you for inquiring. There are two water valves that can affect this. There is Single Primary Water Inlet Valve part number PS11750831 and Inlet Valve part number PS11753250 for your model. I would recommend replacing whichever one you have not already. Good luck with your repair!

The ice maker stopped making ice. I have replaced the water filter which helped for a little bit, but now no ice. The water line and pressure are good and the ejector arm moves freely so i'm at a loss. Any thoughts? Thanks
For model number KSF26C4XYB03
Hi Stephanie,
Thank you for your question. If the ice maker is not making ice and you have already replaced the water filter, there are some other parts that you will need to check to see which one is causing the issue. Here is a link from our website that you may reference on what parts to check, https://www.partselect.com/AdvancedModelSymptoms.aspx?ModelNum=KSF26C4XYB03&mfgModelNum=&fkMfgID=3&ModelMasterID=367587&PID=12. I hope this helps. Thank you and have a great day!

Hello
My fridge( Whirlpool model # gsf26c4exy03) was not making ice, so i opened the icemaker unit and manually filled the ice tray and after 2 hour the ice maker harvested the ice, but the autofill of tray is not happening. I already replaced the water filter and some forum suggested. Door water dispense is also working fine. Not sure what the issue is.
appreciate your help in advance.
For model number GSF26C4EXY03
Hi Rajeev,
Thank you for your question. If your ice maker is not making ice, there are some parts that you will need to check to see which ones are causing the issue. You will need to check the ice maker motor, the ice maker, the water filter, the coupling, the bi-metal defrost thermostat, and the water inlet valve. I hope this helps. Thank you and have a great day!

Side by side in door ice maker does not fill with water. Shut off arm stuck in off position . Is it the ice maker? We checked the temps, we tried the reset, we changed the filter. Is it the ice maker itself that is the problem?

water inlet valve was leaking / the Snack Pan was broked
I replaced the water inlet valve perfect match and also replaced the snack pan perfect match. I'm glad I ordered from Whirlpool. was also cheaper than other sites.. thanks.
Unhooked water line from house to fridge then unbolted valve from fridge body then removed plastic water line from fridge to valve by pushing in on pex release tab then reversed process with new valve. Works like a charm. No more leakage. Wood floor is dry and Happy!

water was leaking from the back of the frig. Issue was the unit that the feed hose screwed into was leaking.
At first ordered the wrong part. Using the website was difficult to find the correct part, but once I called, it was pretty easy to find the part needed. Part showed up and install was only a few minutes. No more leaking!

Leaking around icemaker hose going in to part
Took lower back board off, took part off to expose it so I could see where it was leaking, got part number, ordered it. Shut off water to frig at wall shut off, unhooked both hoses and plug, hooked new part up, turned water back on. Watched couple days to make sure it wasn't leaking. Vacuumed out back good, which I was amazed didn't really need it, hooked part back in place, replaced back with screws.

Water inlet valve
The part I received was delivered in about five days.It was an easy repair but my fridge is only 4 years old.So I don’t think the part should have failed but anyway it’s all fixed. But after my purchase I saw the same part for about $50 less.

Easy fix, saved me a ton of money calling someone
When I went to get water out of my fridge, and heard a "bang", and next thing I knew there was water gushing out of the back of my fridge and my kitchen flooding, I had no idea what was going to be wrong besides the water supply line rupturing. Turns out, thanks to this site and it's very informative reviews and videos, I narrowed it down to this culprit after pulling out the fridge and ensuring the water line was not ruptured. Sure enough, this valve had cracked open at one of the plastic seams and had "exploded" open. VERY easy fix, was the exact replacement part, and I know it saved me A LOT of money from calling a professional to fix something that almost anyone can do. HIGHLY recommend! I have bought many parts from this site before and will continue to do so when needed!
