This part is a replacement lens for your oven or range. The lens is red in color, and when the elements are turned on, the light behind the lens will turn on to inform the user that the element is, in fact, on. The lens is a little less than half an inch in diameter and is made of plastic. If the light behind the lens still works, you should be able to simply remove the front panel and pop the damaged lens out of position, then replace it with the new one. This part is sold individually and is an OEM part sourced directly from the manufacturer.

The indicator lens on my 1963 cooktop was missing. Ordered this one, popped it in, and now it looks great again. Arrived fast too!

Great!
When we bought our home, the stove had a broken lens that kept falling out. We are now selling our home and wanted to fix this for the buyers so I was very thankful to find the part here! Very fast shipping and a minor repair to have the stove looking complete again! Wish we had fixed it years ago!

Worked as expected
The part had to be sent twice as the first package was sent without the part. Fortunately the help desk assistance was superb in solving my problem.

Hot burner light lens broke off.
Pull range away from back wall. Remove panel behind control knobs by removing the screws that hold it on. Find hot burner light that holds lens. Remove broken part of lens. Insert new lens into hole on front of control panel and into hot burner light receptacle. Replace back panel. Slide range back into place.

Locked light is on but burner is unlocked and burners are off, starting burner makes noise!
For model number PGP976SET1SS
Hello Bhagwat, thank you for your question. These cooktops have a manual gas shut off. When “LOCKED” gas does not flow to any of the burners and if a burner knob is moved to the LITE position, a buzzer will remind the consumer that the cooktop is locked. We recommend the Switch Harness Assembly PartSelect Number PS11725188. Good luck with your repair.
