PartSelect Number PS12585623
Manufacturer Part Number 5304517203
The Lower Spray Arm is used in your dishwasher to spray water and clean your dishes. If broken there will be visible damage or your dishes may no longer be cleaned properly. If your spray arm is broken (due to general wear or high heat), it should be replaced. Your lower spray arm will be located at the bottom of your dishwasher tub. Check your user manual and model number to ensure this model is right for you. This version is plastic and metal and comes in gray/blue. We recommend you wear work gloves to keep your hands safe when installing and disconnect power to the appliance. You will also want to make sure that you turn off the water supply to your dishwasher. From here, you will want to open the dishwasher, pull out the lower rack and set it aside. Remove the lower wash arm. On each side of the bottom of the spray arm, there are small locking tabs that can be pushed aside using a flathead screwdriver. Once released, the spray arm can easily be pulled off the dishwasher. Put the new lower wash arm in place and push it down to lock it in. Ensure it is spinning freely and does not hit the heating element. Return the lower dish rack into place and then close the dishwasher door.

spray arm keeps melting
I have had to keep replacing the spray arm on the bottom of my dishwasher which takes like 2 seconds to do.. First you open the dishwasher and than pull the bottom basked forward and reach down and pull the spray arm up and pop the bottom of the spray arm off and put it on the new spray arm and slip it back into the dishwasher over the thing that makes it spin around.. but the tricky part is and I didn't know this and this is why my dishwasher spray arm kept falling over and melting on the heating element.. you have to turn it till it clicks in.. and your done.. PartSelect Number PS12705424
Manufacturer Part Number 5304518927
This lower spray arm assembly is a device in your dishwasher that distributes water and detergent during the washing cycle. Its rotating motion sprays water in multiple directions, ensuring thorough cleaning. Typically, it is attached to a support or hub at the bottom of the dishwasher. When this part is broken, there are noticeable signs to be aware of. You might hear knocking or banging sounds coming from the dishwasher. The spray arm may be wobbly or unable to rotate. If a broken arm assembly is not replaced, your dishes may still have dirt on them even after a wash cycle. Additionally, leftover food residue can result in an unpleasant smell within the dishwasher. To remove the existing arm assembly, simply grasp the center of it and lift it up so that it unsnaps from your dishwasher. Please note that this OEM-sourced part is sold individually.

Melted spray arm resulted in leaky dishwasher
Over Thanksgiving, the spray arm in my dishwasher apparently popped off and was partially melted. I remounted it inside the dishwasher, but the new hole was on the side of the arm. I think this resulted in water being sprayed directly against the door and not up through the top holes. It flooded my kitchen floor.

The spray arm pops on and off with plastic tabs (?) at the base. You can lightly pry with a butter knife or simply wiggle it off. The new one popped right on. Easiest repair EVER.

Crosley Dishwasher Center Spray Arm
★★★★★
★★★★★
16 Reviews
PartSelect Number PS11770527
Manufacturer Part Number 5304506740
This spray arm assembly is a vital component in dishwashers, responsible for distributing water throughout the tub to clean dishes effectively. It rotates during the wash cycle, using water pressure to spray jets that reach all areas of the load. The assembly may consist of multiple parts, including the spray arm, support, and connection fittings—refer to your model’s parts diagram for a complete list. A properly functioning spray arm ensures thorough cleaning and helps prevent residue buildup. If dishes are coming out dirty or the arm isn’t spinning freely, replacement may be necessary. Installation typically involves removing the lower rack, detaching the old assembly, and securing the new one in place.

This spray arm nut is used in dishwashers and works as the retaining nut for the lower dishwasher spray arm. The nut makes sure the lower spray arm is secured to the pump housing. If your spray arm is coming off, or your nut is lost or damaged, replacing the part can be a solution to your problem. Remember to unplug dishwasher from power source and disconnect the water supply before you begin this installation. Refer to the manual provided by the manufacturer for further installation instructions.

Lower sprayarm nut stripped + broken inside Pump outlet
You WILL need a star-tip screwdriver for this COMMON DU915 repair. We already had one.
The plastic "wing" nut which keeps the lower sprayarm attached to the pump assembly cracked inside where the threading on each part meets. Have been reattaching the nut to the Pump outlet for a year or so with super glue and finally found PartSelect.com. My husband had to fix this with a star screwdriver and vice grips (and he is super strong)-- otherwise an easy fix using just the manual supplied by the manufacturer. I just noticed the virtual repairman feature on partselect but we didn't need to go there.
The starhead screws that hold the pump outlet in place were on super tight. Other than that, no problem. It has been a week and the dishwasher works like new.
I ordered the parts online at 9pm at night and had the parts in my mailbox the next day - LESS than 24 hours later. How is that even possible?
Just ask anyone who knows me...I am NOT easy to please when it comes to customer service in any realm of the retail world - I have to say without any doubt PartSelect is the BEST experience I've had in my entire shopping life. It's as if customers run this company. I only wish they sold car parts, groceries, clothes and food.
I will be back to purchase again, I'm sure and I know it will go just as smoothly.

The spray arm would fall off during the washing cycle.
Repair was simple. I unscrewed the old grommet which held the old spray arm and screwed-on the new one. About 30 seconds was required. Other people having this problem should note that the spray-arm is made of three pieces which are inseparable when the arm is new. The arm is sold in this form. However, when your machine is having the problem that the arm falls off, the three pieces become separate. When you want to replace the spray arm, only one new part needs to be ordered because this part encompases all three components. Read more...

Dishwasher was growing mold on inside lid door. Also the glasses were not looking clean. Appeared as if they were not getting rinsed well enough.
First I removed the two screws that hold the lower front cover of the dishwasher to get under the dishwasher. Then I removed the two screws that hold the element in place. I then pulled the element out about 3 inches and disconnected the two wires. I then opened the dishwasher door and removed the old element and replaced it with the new element. I closed the dishwasher door and reconnected the two wires making sure that I put the proper wire on the proper post. I then put the two screws back on the element to hold it in place Next I replaed the cover on the front and tested the dishwasher for heat by running it empty. Read more...

Glasses in the top shelf had food bits - not rinsing well
The most difficult part of this was figuring out the problem was with the middle spray arm - that it was not spinning (and thus not rinsing the top dishes). I could spin it by hand fine - but if I watched its position while the machine was running (open/close the door) I saw it wasn't moving. I took out the top shelf (with spray arm attached) and connected it to the garden hose. I could see then that the arm was sagging and hitting the rear connection, preventing it from spinning. To replace I removed the plugs from the top shelf side-rails (bend the rail open with your thumb and tip the plugs out of the rail to the right for the left rail, to the left for the right rail. this is easier than pulling them out the end of the rail). Slide out the top shelf. Turn over, remove the phillips screw and pull off the manifold, and middle spray arm. Replace with the new parts. I also replaced the top spray arm (which was very loose, and probably not spraying well because it was so loose). For this I unclipped the top feed tube and pulled off the old sprayer. Put a towel in the bottom rack of the washer so you don't drop the little pieces into the pump below. The top spray arm simply snaps in with the two connectors (the pointy one attaches through the feed tube). Read more...

Lower spray arm seal replacement
Remove upper tray and spray arm. Remove two screws retaining pipe for upper spray arm and overhead. Unscrew retainer on top of lower spray arm and remove. Gently rotate the upper feed pipe clockwise until pipe can be removed from lower pipe. You may then remove the lower pipe and bearing housing where the seal is. Reverse order for reassembly. I also replaced upper spray arm bushing. Very simple, remove one screw and the arm will come out. Read more...
