The rack track stop on your dishwasher is designed to stop the dish rack at the appropriate place when opening and closing the rack. If your dishwasher is not cleaning your dishes properly, the rack stop may need to be replaced. The replacement part may differ slightly from the broken part, depending on the model. However, the different styles are interchangeable. This product is sold individually and comes in both a white and grey plastic version. Many of our customers found this repair to be very easy and takes less than 30 minutes to complete. Simply snap the old part out and snap the new part into place. You will not require any tools to complete the job. This is an authentic part approved by the manufacturer.

Upper rack wheels had begun to break off. Shoddy design and materials.

I carefully followed the video instructions step by step. They were detailed, clear, and pointed out how to avoid installation mistakes. WIthout the video I would have been tempted to just figure it out myself - ("Hey, I'm a handy guy. How hard could it be, right?"). With the video I sailed right through with no dumb errors. This is an upper dishrack slide for your dishwasher. It is mounted to each side of the upper cabinet wall. The dishrack wheels roll inside this track, which guides the upper rack. The mounting screws are not included in this purchase and can be found in the related parts section below. You should purchase a new dishrack slide if your current one has been warped or damaged over time.

Top rack was dropping out of rollers/Slides

This was the second part of repair. Left side was constantly falling out of the slide. I replaced the same items as above minus the gasket and screw kit. Once done, the right side was sloppy so I orders part for that side plus gasket which slid right in.
1. Removed stops on front end of Upper Dishrack Slide on both sides.
2. Removed Upper Dishrack
3. Remove Roller and Axle/clip (4 each)
4. Push Roller onto Axle on all 4 kits
5. Install all 4 roller kits on Upper Dishrack
6. Remove stops from back end of Upper Dishrack Slides.
7. Remove both Slides
8. Remove 8 each Tub Wheels.
9. Using old or new Screws and Washers, install new Tub Wheels.
10. Install both Upper Dishrack Slides ensuring that small holes are toward the back.
11. Install stops on the back end of Slides.
12 Install Upper Dishrackinto slides
13. Install front stops on slide

upper rack would not pull out easily

Replaced both "tracks" and the "wheels" .
Now it's like new....!!
My wife is so happy

Removed the track end caps from the tracks so I could pull out the tracks.
Removed the upper wash rack that holds dishes.
Only by removing this rack can the wheels be replaced, if I tried to replace them with the rack attached to the dishwasher I had to bend forward painfully.
Replace the old rales with new ones.
Attach new wheels to the upper rack in such a way as to allow the rack to roll inside the new rales.
Replace the end caps.

Tines were broken and rack was damaged

Replaced the dish rack.

Removed the retaining clips on the front of the rail and removed the old rack.

Removed the spray arm assembly from the old rack.

Assembled the new rack, with the supplied parts from the kit. Using the old rack to know where some parts needed to be placed.

Put the spray arm assembly on the new rack.

Inserted the new rack into the rails

This silverware basket has eight sections and is all white in color. It is also made of plastic and has a built-in handle on either side so that you can quickly and easily remove it from the dishwasher. The basket is used to hold utensils in the dishwasher and secure them in place while the dishwasher is running. This part may bend, warp, or break over time and will need to be replaced. This is a very easy replacement and requires no tools. Remove the old rack and remove the cover so you can re-use it on the new basket. You simply place the new one on the bottom rack.

Old shelf rack and silverware basket (yellowed & stained)

Removed the old dishrack shelf by taking off the end caps. A screw driver was used to release the plastic end caps. The old dishrack shelf is now able to just roll out and the new shelf is rolled in and the old end caps replaced. Quick and easy plus it makes the dish machine look new. Pieces of the lower dishrack were loosing the plastic coating and snapping off.

First of all, I removed the existing lower dishrack. That was a piece of cake! The part that was tricky was getting the spray arm out of the center so that it could be placed into the new dishrack. I finally figured out that I simply had to twist this piece (I think to the right) to remove it. I reversed this step to place the spray arm assembly into the new dishrack. And then VOILA...I just slid the new dishrack in place! Read more...
