My broiler works but the oven does not. The error code is eo8. Can you help?
For model number FX710BGS
Hello Elton, Thanks for your question. E08 means the oven is not heating. You will want to unplug the range and test the oven sensor, broil burner, bake burner, and convection heater. Replace any that do not have electrical continuity. I hope this helps.

For model number NX58H5600SS
Hi Annette, Thank you for your question. Yes, the first part that I would suggest you test is your igniter to make sure that it is working correctly. If it is, you may want to test your temperature sensor next. If that part is fine it may actually be your electronic control board that is the issue. I hope that helps. Good luck with your repair.

My oven takes forever to reach temp, sometimes it sits at 150 for 20 mins. I can see the igniter glowing and can smell propane.
For model number fx710bgs
Hello Moke and thanks for writing. This is usually a defective ignitor, you can try to clean it and see if that helps. If it does not chances are it has become defective and needs to be changed. We hope this helps. Please contact us anytime.

Hi, my oven does not light, i'am testing the igniter for amp's. What should it draw
For model number nx58k9500wg/aa
Hi Michael, thank you for your question. There are a few parts that could cause this issue in your appliance. First I would say test your igniters with a multi meter to see if they are working correctly or not. They should be reading between 0 - 1100 ohms to be working correctly. The other part you should check would be your oven temperature sensor. That can also be tested with a multi meter and should be reading between 1000 - 1100 ohms. If those three parts are fine however, then the issue may be in your control board or the spark module. Good luck with your repair.

My oven is very slow to reach the preheat temperature, if it reaches it at all. I had the oven igniter replaced a year and a half ago when this occurred. Could it be the same thing? How can i tell if it needs to be replaced?
For model number NX58H5650WS
Hello Jason, Thank you for the question. I suggest testing the Sensor, PartSelect Number PS4240743. Testing the temperature sensor probe on your oven is easy. With the sensor at room temperature, measure the resistance between the two prongs at the end of the sensor connector. The resistance of the sensor should read approximately 1080 – 1090 ohms at room temperature. Thank you for your inquiry, good luck with this repair!

I have a Samsung gas range fx710bgs, about six years old. A year ago it started when the oven was on the burners on the range top would fluctuate up and down by themselves. After a couple months the over stopped working, everything else worked i replaced part #dg94 00449 then the oven worked for 5 months, but the burners on the range still fluctuated when the oven was on, now the oven stopped working again? Is there some part that controls #dg94 00449?

Heat is coming out but digital temp. Moves up very slowly. Never getting to the desired pre-heat temp.According to dashboard.
For model number FX510BGS
Hi Norm, Thank you for your question. If the oven is not heating correctly, then the issue is likely with the oven sensor, sometimes called the oven thermostat, and you will need to check it with a multi-meter. When testing the sensor with a multi-meter, the sensor should be tested at room temperature and it should be unplugged from the oven. You will need to measure the resistance between the two prongs at the end of the sensor connector. Replace the oven sensor if the reading is less than 900 Ohms or more than 1200 Ohms. If this checks out fine, you will need to check the electronic control board, both oven elements and the wiring between these parts to see which once is causing the issue. We hope this helps. Thank you and have a great day.

The preheating in oven never reaches the desired baking temperature. No error code was given. All the top burners work. The broiler works. The fan runs. Just no heat for baking. What could be the cause?
