The light on the inside of the dryer front panel is very dimly lite when the door is open and goes out when i depress the door switch. Is the problem the door switch or the lamp? Can you give me the part number i need to order? Thank you!

My dryer will not start ever since the power went off while i was using it? There is no sound or nothing when i press the start button. What part do i need?

Hello Cindy, Thank you for the question. It sounds like the Control Board may have been shorted out with the surge, PartSelect Number PS12364902. Only way to know for sure s to have a technician test the board. Hope this helps, good luck with this repair!

My dryer has power and lights up on the panel. When I hit start I get 3 quick beeps and the dryer does not start. Is this the door switch?

Dryer will not start when start button pressed with door closed and control panel active. Is most likely bad part the door switch?

Sorry but I forgot to mention that I did purchase a new control board but the dryer still did not work.

Hello Cindy, Thank you for contacting us back. If the control board did not fix the issue, I suggest testing the Thermal Limiter, PartSelect Number PS419402. The dryer thermal limiter, also known as a thermal fuse, blows the fuse to cut off power to the dryer when the dryer begins to overheat, but is it was shorted out or blown with the surge it will not allow power tot he appliance as well. Hope this helps, good luck with this repair!
