the repair man that I called told me he probably would not be able to find the part. got on line found the part with my model and serial number, received the part within a week and took me about 15 minutes to install. Having the utube video attached to the part was wonderful!

fit great except wiring was slightly different but still obvious to plug correctly....works great so far.....finding my part and ordering is always a breeze on PS!!! Since appliances dont last like they used to, I keep my magnetic Part Select card on my fridge handy. We used to by a fridge or washer and dryer and it lasted 25 or more years and even more for a stove and an oven! I gave away my perfect working 30 year old fridge when I got my new one 10 years ago and I have had to replace the mother board in it 3 times at $200 a pop and a fan and a water valve and it is stilla shitty fridge that freezes produce unexpectedly no matter where you place it inside and when it is set at the highest temp you dare keep your dairy at.Not to mention the icemaker drips and gets clogged and is really bad at dispensing ice or water! My 10 yr old dryer has been apart 5 or 6 times for parts and belts. My 10 yr old washer that has never adequately cleaned clothes has to be unplugged when it has a mind fart and this pump is its only replacement but remember it is only 10. My 8 yr old oven and stove cant hold a temperature and baking is nearly impossible while the outside is falling apart much like my washer and dryer are.

The part was exactly what was needed to fix my washer and I was able to get it before the repairman from GE was able to get it through his supplier. Thank you.
