How can i put the machine in diagnostic mode
For model number GFWH1200D0WW
Hi Charles,
Thank you for your question. To place your washer in test or diagnostic mode, first press the power button to clear any cycles that are currently running. The display on your washer must blank to proceed. Once this has been completed, unplug or cut the power to the washer for 30 seconds and then reconnect it. Once the power has been restored, enter this sequence; signal button-delay start button-signal button-delay start button. Once you have done this, the door will lock and display t01. To exit the test mode, enter the sequence again. If the washer has been left in test mode for 2 hours, the test mode will end and the door will unlock. We hope this helps!

On page 2, instruction on to how to enter the washer in to service mode and to test the washer: Press : Signal, Delay, Signal, Delay (within 30 seconds of plug in washer) Then rotate main knob to #102 and press Start:(the washer did a test for finding the problem) , and for me was : E22 , it means : replace solenoid valve assembly. So I order the part from Partselect.com for $58.00 and my Washer runs beautiful, thanks to the instructions inside.
