Washer is producing a terrible smell and leaking black fluid. We're worried that the oil-filled gearbox is shot. Can we replace this at reasonable cost or do we need to get a new machine?

My machine is very loud on high spin is there a bearings I can replace or is it the hole gear box ? Thx
