How does the control knob work? It has on the right various settings. On the left is settings for time (60 minutes,etc)? Does it just turn until you have your setting. If you use the right side does it automatically time the dryer time.

Hello Richard, Thank you for the question. Each setting on the right side has a set amount of time to perform the cycle. Once you select the setting you want, you will see the knob move a bit until the timer switch finishes that cycle setting. Hope this helps!

I need to order the BIG main control knob but because i had to use plyers a number of times to turn the selector knob to 'more dry' etc, now the plastic stick which the knob slips into is disfigured and i will need that part a well but can't find what that is
