I have been told the suspension on my machine has to be replaced. Is part ps11703291 a complete suspension replacement or will i require 4 of them ?? can i replace the springs alone or must i replace the rods as well.
For model number 26002010

Hello Chris, thank you for contacting us. This is the whole assembly for the suspension rods, you will receive all 4 of them with the springs as they are not sold separately. Good luck with the repair!

I believe that my washer might have issues with the suspension rods but your web site does not point to them (but to to suspension holders). The washer definitely rocks and rolls when the spin cycle is attempted. I believe agitation works fine. I replace the suspension holders with no change. I believe I could change out these rods though there are no instructions on how to "release" them from below. A repairman talked about this being a bearing issue and then too costly to repair. I would not mind a $130+ cost for parts if there were a high probability it works. The other causes listed of "shake and move" such as the drive pulley seem to be very rare with the pulley being defective causing slow spin, no spin, etc. rather than a rocking. The washer reports no error code. I did note that one of the rods was very rusty (near the bleach dispenser). When I push down on the tub it does bounce 2-3 times but no excessively but I don't know what a normal amount of spring it should have!

Hi Bill, thank you for contacting us. We have researched your model number and found that most of the time when your washer rolls during a spin cycle, you need to replace the suspension rods, part number PS11703291. This is a suspension rod kit that contains all four rods. Please submit a new question if you have any follow-ups.
