Sample Model Number Tags
Model numbers can be made up of numbers (1005400, for example) or a combination of letters and numbers (LAT1000AAE). The model number will most likely appear on either a paper sticker or a metal plate. Your appliance's model number tag may look similar to the sample model number tags shown here (model number highlighted in yellow):

How Buying OEM Parts Can Save You Time and Money
Why buy the real thing?
OEM stands for Original Equipment Manufacturer. Simply put, this means that the company who made your appliance is also supplying the replacement part for it.

Works great!
Replaced my door latch housing since it had worn causing the microwave to trip my circuit breaker. This solved that issue along with replacing the two Normally open switches and one normally closed.

Factory part, exact fit
This was an inexpensive fix for an over the range micro. A bit pricey for a piece of plastic, but the only solution other than total replacement. PartSelect had the part; it was not widely available.

Easy Repair
The part was a bit slow in getting here via FedEx, but once it came, it only took me about 15 minutes to change it out and the microwave works perfectly now. It was the exact part I needed to fix the issue of the microwave shutting down and blowing the internal fuse if I opened the door during a cooking cycle to stir something. I thought I was going to have to buy a new microwave, but this did the trick. Very easy to replace after watching a YouTube video on how to do it.

Medium hard repair.
Microwave was tripping breaker and blowing fuses and after much research and disassemblies noticed that where the door latch hit and rode up the angled part on the body was allowing the door to flex when opening just enough to activate the bottom switch before the top switch which causes a direct short. The plastic had worn unevenly on the 2 latch points and after replacement problem gone. Also these guys had the part for a reasonable price compared to everyone else. It's just a block of plastic for cripes sake

Confusing
The repair was confusing. The part was easy to replace, but it should be mentioned that a piece from the old part had to be removed and attached to the new part so the latch would work correctly. Almost had to buy a new microwave until that was realized.

Does this come with the interlock switches? If not, is there a part that includes the switches?
For model number JVM3160DF3WW
Hello Dennis, Thank you for the question. The Interlock Switches Part #PS8754454, Part #PS8754455 and Part #PS1019163 are sold separately. If you need help placing an order, customer service is open 7 days a week. Please feel free to give us a call. We look forward to hearing from you!
I am looking for the door latch housing for model JVM1635SFC01. The part that holds the switches and receives the door latch. I have found WB06X10610 and WB06X10289. The first looks identical and the latter looks the same minus the extra unneeded screw holes. However, both do not state JVM1635SFC01 compatible. Is there another part # that fits model JVM1635SFC01. When looking at the the Parts Diagram for my model it looks like L01 is the door latch housing but there are no picture attached and that part is listed as Bracket Interlock part # WG02A01011. Any help is appreciated
For model number JVM1635SFC01
Hi Brett, thank you for reaching out. The manufacturer's part numbers, WB06X10610, and WB06X10289, that you have mentioned, do not fit your model. The compatible one is the interlock bracket, part number PS12340572. We hope this information is useful!
