While using washer a E9F code appeared and stopped working.contacted parts select trouble shooting site they told me what it was ordered the part they were right on!back washing again thanks so much for the help!

If getting error code e53 on Frigidaire affinity front load washer, does this mean motor control board needs replacing?

Hello Brad, thank you for your question. The E53 error means that the drum speed control board (centripetal motor switch) is giving an abnormally low voltage. Check the wiring between the main control board and the speed control board and if the wiring checks ok then replace the speed control board. I hope this helps!

I'm getting a e9f code on my washer what does that mean?

Hello Steve, Thank you for contacting us. This error code indicates a communication error between the main control board and the motor control board. You can test the parts with a multimeter. If you are unfamiliar with how a multimeter functions, we have videos available to assist you.

Is this the display at the front of the washing machine where it shows the washing time and the program?

Hi Barry,
Thank you for your question. The E52 error code is letting you know that there is a bad signal coming from the motor tachometer. You will need to test the tachometer with a multimeter. Before you test the tachometer, unplug the washer. You should have a resistance between 105 and 130 ohms. If you do not get this reading, replace the drive motor. If you do get a reading between 105 and 130 ohms, you will need to replace the speed control board next to the motor. We hope this helps! Good luck with the repair!
My washer is getting a e55 error code. It goes through the whole wash cycle just agitating back and forth but never does the fast spin cycle at the end. Does this point to the speed controller board?
