Does the oven door seal go all the way around door. Mine does not have any seal around the bottom. Probably why my oven has never worked right and twenty five degrees off since i have owned it all these years, right or not? I bought it off the floor years ago.

Hi Sidney, Thank you for the question. The seal does not go across the bottom, Just the top and sides. I suggest replacing the Oven Thermostat if the temperature if not reaching the set degrees. Hope this helps!

Dear sir, my mother has a frigidiare stove, and the gasket, (the black rubber seal that goes around the stove door), has come off on the left side of the stove door, and has even ripped abit, and she does not know how to put it back on. Do you have any suggestions? Thankyou, Anita tamburo

Hello Anita, Thank you for the question. The gasket is held in place by clips. There may have been a clip where the gasket is ripped. In order to keep the gasket in place the clips are required and the gasket will need to be replaced. Thank you for your inquiry, good luck with this repair!

I get smoke out of top from underneath oven door when cooking and it looks as though the seal is in good shape , but there are 19 holes for seal clips and only 10 are there, i bought this stove used. Could it be the wrong seal? Does original seal have 19 clips?

Does this oven seal goes around the bottom. There are clip holes on the bottom too.

Gasket missing
I took the brads that were left from the old gasket off with needle nose pliers. Then I put the new one on. It was very easy.
