would have been an easy repair if that was all that was needed
I'm sure the part is fine, but it was discovered that the washer wash shot before the part arrived, and it is sitting here in the box

Easy Repair - Part cost more than it should
The part was easy to install, had excellent installation instructions, and my dryer is working as it should. I think that $14.14 is too expensive for such a small, lightweight part as was the cost of the related shipping and handling ($9.95).

The Start knob broke off
At first the knob seemed like it would not fit on, but after I sprayed it with WD-40 oil, it slipped with a gentle, steady push

My dryer wouldn't start, I saw the part on your website after reading comments from other people
I put the nob on the post, one side is flat the rest of the lever on the dryer is round. So I matched up the lever with he inside of the new knob and slid it on . The dryer works perfectly. I ordered it on May 5 th and the nob arrived May 15 th. I guess Georgia is a long way from Arizona. But the part fit perfectly and I am happy. Tha

Broken Knob
I took off the broken knob since it was already loose. Then I removed the new part from its wrapper and lined the bolt up the knob. Inserting and pushing until it felt like the knob had a firm grip the job was done.

Knob on washer timer would not turn dial also dryer start switch would not work.
Washer - remove 4 screws (phillips)on the back of the panel, slide it sidways slightly and pull forward to release. remove clip behind knob ( kinda like the clip on old car window handles) remove knob and dial. remove 1 nut on timer, rotate timer to release. installation is just as easy, but put clip onto knob first then just push onto d

Dryer - remove 4 screws (phillips) on back of panel and remove same as washer. dryer switch will have a little cam lock on it just pull it off the plastic retainer and rotate switch. Remove wires one at a time and put on new switch so as not to wire wrong. reverse for re-assembly

On my dryer's start knob, i can turn it, hold it in the start position (to the right) and the dryer goes on and works normally. If i let go of the knob, it goes back in the off position and the dryer shuts off. I've rigged the knob with a pair of vice grips that has enough weight to hold the knob in the on position but I'd like to fix it. Any suggestions.
For model number DBXR463GB0WW
Hello Mike, Thank you for the question. The first part to check or replace woudl be the Start Switch, PartSelect Number PS268305. If the switch is good it might be a defective switch on the motor, PartSelect Number PS1559768 and the motor will need to be replaced. Thank you for your inquiry, good luck with this repair!

Start knob broke completely off shaft , what parts do I need, shaft and knob?
For model number Dblr33etoww
Hello Donna, thank you for your question. The Knob does fit on the shaft of the start switch. As long as the shaft is still ok, all you will need is the Knob PS268450. If it is the shaft as well, you will need PS267904. If you need help placing an order, customer service is open 7 days a week. Please feel free to give us a call. We look forward to hearing from you.

Dryer will not start. I want to replace the knob which turns it on?
