Noisy bad bearing on idle
Taken dry a part remove the belt and then the idle replace with new one taken about 30 minutes.
Used putty knife to release catches on dryer top. Removed two screws in Lint Filter cover. Used Nut driver to remove the screws holding the front on. Removed the drum and had easy access to all the parts I was having trouble with. I believe the real problem was the Idler pulley but since I was already there I replaced the drum rollers

Squealling when dryer starts up then squeals off and on while running
We had to take the dryer apart first to figure out what the problem was. Put it back together after determining what was the problem, order parts ,receive parts in the mail, tear dryer back apart install new parts, close dryer up, test run, Get Thank-you kiss from wife!!!
First ordered belt and rollers Noise continued then orders tension roller. Better but still noise. Son thinks may be motor. Repair was easy just followed what you already had on line.

Dryer squeaks on first load for a minute or less. It doesn’t squeak on second or third loads. Dryer is level and drum is clear of debris including around drum gasket. Want to know what part I should order to repair.
For model number WGD6200SW2
Hello Peter, thank you for your question. There are several causes of a squeaky dryer, including damaged drum bearings, a faulty drive belt, a worn out idler pulley, a damaged roller shaft or a malfunctioning motor. We advise to remove the outer panel on front or rear of the dryer and turning it on to hear exactly where the squeak is coming from. We have a video on how to tear down a dryer. Hope this helps.
