An extra plastic part (5304522194) came in a plastic bag along along with two hinge covers that I installed. What is the purpose of this part, and do I have to do anything with it? Thanks

Hello George, Thank you for writing. The Door hinge bearing reduces friction between the door hinge and the door panel to allow smooth motion when the door opens and closes. It is required for the repair. We hope this helps!

Does this fit into the upper door hinge to actually connect it to the door?
