How do I stop the ice maker. There is a green light on the ice maker. Either way when the green light is on and the float is open or when the float is closed the ice maker is still working. Please advise how to shut off the ice maker.

Hi Randi, thank you for reaching out. According to our research, the issue is probably with the ice maker, part number PS16745549. Before replacing it, please check the door switch, part number PS12718039. Good luck with your repair!
First I’ve done this many times no issues. This gasket which finally fit was the worst item and first from partselect. I’ve never had such a hard time getting the gasket to stay in the groove. Softened it and everything. Had to carefully use a plastic shim inch by inch. Bad bad bad!!
