Why buy the real thing?

When the washer goes to the spin cycle it makes a high pitch noise. Is this a gear box problem

Hi Jim, thank you for reaching out. Yes, the gear case, part number PS12741641, can cause this issue. The bearings in the washer might be worn out, causing a squealing or high-pitched noise. The bearings for your model do not come separately. You may need to replace the gear case to fix the issue. We hope this solves your problem!
