Does part select 12347810 replace ps17216730 and does mfg#W11158805 replace #W11688995. Water continues to flow even after cycle ends
For model number WTW5700XW0
Hi Ken, thank you for your inquiry. A washer that continues to fill with water after the cycle ends is caused by a defective water inlet valve (solenoid valve) that is stuck open. You will need to check the hot water inlet valve, part number PS12348074, and the cold water inlet valve, part number PS12348073. Test them using a multimeter for continuity and replace the valve that is causing the issue. Glad to be of help!
Hello Alan, thank you for the question. Yes, the water inlet valve, part number PS12347810, comes with the wiring. We hope this helps!

Does anyone have guidance on how to open/remove the console cover? I need to replace a part and don't know how to open the console :-(
For model number MVWX700XW0
Hello Ninju, thank you for reaching out. Remove the knobs first by pull it off straight. Remove the screws at the back of the control panel, then slide the panel to the side to detach it from the main top. Disconnect the wires from the control board and set the control panel aside. Use a putty knife to release the two spring clips holding the front panel, then pull the panel forward and lift it up to remove. We hope this helps.
