All of a sudden, the number two and number three on the touch of our microwave is no longer working. Also, some of the numbered lights are beginning to dim. Not sure if this is a part or parts which can be replaced. Could you please advise?

I have this GE Microwave. Some of Control Display digits are not working.
Also, #1 on Touch pad stopped responding.
1. Is the entire control panel needs to be replaced? If it is, please provide Part Number from your inventory.
2. If that the case, how difficult to change it? I'm pretty handy.

Hello Uri, Thank you for your inquiry. Since both the touchpad and display are not working correctly, then we would recommend replacing the control panel. This part is held on by a screw and two tabs on the bottom of the part and you may need to remove the outer housing to access the screw. We hope this helps you.
Microwave displayed PF (Power Failure) checked plug but unable to get Microwave to turn back on

Hi Lori, thank you for contacting us. We have researched the model and would suggest resetting the microwave by pressing Cancel/Off button for 10 seconds. If this does not solve the issue, the problem might be caused by a shorted fuse, part number PS3486694. The function of the fuse is to protect the microwave from damage by shutting off the microwave if there is a power surge. Checking the fuse for continuity using a multimeter might help. Good luck with the repair!
Several control buttons do not work including "Add 30 Seconds" and "Power Level". Do I need a new control panel? If so, this will be the second replacement. Thanks.

Display saying that the circuit board has a short, can it be replaced or will a reset work?
