This cap hub is a genuine OEM replacement part for your KitchenAid mixer. The cap hub is a small part at the top of your mixer which you remove when adding an attachment such as the pastamaker. To replace this part, simply unscrew the knob to the right of the cap, and remove and replace the cap.

Need a replacement part for the front of the mixer inside is square and there is an attached tightening screw that stabilizes the beaters can't use the mixer

Spring latch broke and bowl would wabble around when the mixer was on
I unscrewed the spring latch (I could not find a screw driver- so I used a butter knife) I took the new one and screwed it on........the total time took about 2 minutes!
The best news was that the parts were delivered in 2 days after ordering!!!!!!!!! Amazing!!!!!!!!!!
