Does the water dispense tube have a flap valve or something to keep the water from dripping out once the dispensing is stopped. Have a slow drip. Checked the water inlet valve function. No drip at valve once the dispensing is complete. ( took outlet tube off at valve). Or could it be something with the secondary valve where it splits the water between the ice maker and water dispenser? Cannot locate that valve.
For model number 59672383411
Hi Kelley, thank you for contacting us. There is no flap valve or check valve at the tip of the water dispenser tube to stop the flow. Instead, the system relies on the water inlet valve. The most common cause of a slow, persistent drip is air trapped in the water lines. Air is compressible; when you stop dispensing, the trapped air expands and pushes out the remaining water in the tube. If the issue persists, you may need to replace the dual secondary valve, part number PS11753251. We hope this solves your problem!
