The ice maker stopped making ice. The maker is on. Water dispenser works as it should. Water filter has been replaces. Freezer is at 0 degrees. I am missing something? How to remove the ice maker which is mounted to the inside top of the refrigerator. Water and ice is dispenser is thru the 4 door Jennair. Thanks
Chris Boyle Profile
Hi Dave, thank you for reaching out. According to our research, we would recommend you check the ice maker assembly, part number PS16730670, to fix this issue. To remove the ice box's cover placed at the top of the refrigerator, first remove the outer cover by using a screwdriver to detach the retaining tabs. Now, disconnect the heater wire connector to fully remove the cover. By using a nut driver, unthread the two screws securing the ice box. Disconnect the main icebox wire connector as well as the ice maker and heater wire connectors. By using the small flathead screwdriver, pry the waterline retaining bracket free using the wrench. Now, depress the retaining ring to release the ice maker fill tube from the dual water valve. Now, pull the ice box forward to remove it. We hope this information is useful!

Purchased new motor from Partselect.com. When it arrived it came with a new rubber washer that fitted on top of new motor that was not on old motor, that how water got into old motor. However, the instruction sheet did not give info on how to access the proper way to the motor that is the door. Not wanting to damage the freezer door assy. called in a tech who made it look easy, but even he had a little problem locating access panel that was directly under the motor in the freezer side of the door. After that it was a piece of cake.
