My icemaker does not stop producing ice.I took the thermistor out and measured the resistance with a voltage meter and it is reading 32k ohms.Looks like the thermistor is ok, right? Does that mean the control board is bad? What else could I troubleshoot or could I be missing? Thanks
For model number GI15NDXXS2
Hi Patrick, Thank you for the question. You can check to make sure the thermistor is mounted below the screw that supports it, not above it.If the thermistor is above the screw, just rotate the thermistor is below the screw. If this does not fix the issue you will need to replace the control board. Hope this helps!

My icemaker is not pumping water to the freezing plate. I have changed the ice machine recirculating pump, the ice machine water sensor, and pump wire harness. It is still not pumping water to the freezing plate but it will pump water out of the reservoir allowing it to drain and cycle, filling the reservoir again, and after awhile it will cycle all over again. Do you have any suggestions?
For model number JIM158XXRS1
Hello Michael,
Thanks for your question. You may want to test the condenser fan motor for continuity with a multimeter and replace it if it shows no continuity. You should also test the water inlet valve and the cutter grid.
I hope this helps.
Pump will come on if you unplug the power and plug back in, but the unit will not come on from the control panel and cabinet light does not come on.

My ice maker does not stop ice making.
For model number GI15NDXXS2
Hi Angel, Thank you for the question. Sounds like you need to replace the Bin Thermistor,PartSelect Number PS11755741. When the ice reaches the tip of this thermistor it tells the ice maker to stop making ice. Hope this helps!
Circulation pump not working. Ohm check said 7 ohms, power to pump was only 1.4 volts. Does this suggest a bad control board?
For model number KUIP15PRXX0
Hi Casey, thanks for reaching out. Our research indicates that this could be a very simple fix by checking the water lines to make sure they are not kinked. If your lines are in good shape, we would suggest replacing the recirculating pump. When this part fails, it will cut power to the pump. Lastly, it could be the main control board that is faulty. Thank you again for your inquiry, good luck with this repair.
Replaced the electronic control board. When plugged in the pump come on for a few seconds and panel lit up for a couple of seconds but went off and the on button will not start the unit or light up.

Hello and thank you for writing.
We suggest to try a hard reset:
Go to your breaker box and shut the breakers for your unit off, wait 5 minutes and then turn the breaker to on again. That should hopefully clear this problem.
We hope this helps. Please contact us anytime if you require further assistance.

My ice maker makes no ice. I replaced the recirculate pump. Water comes in goes on ice plate but nothing after that. Bin stays warm.
For model number GI15NDXXQO
Hi Bill, thank you for contacting us. The problem appears to be with the ice bin temperature sensor and you may need to replace it, the part number is PS11755741. It monitors the temperature in the ice maker bin and sends the temperature reading to the electronic control board. We hope this sorts out your problem!
Hello! Our ice maker seems to be having ‘electrical’ gremlins: it will start a cycle after an hard reset only to completely power down after a few minutes or a cycle or two. Sometimes it will power back up on its own in the middle of the night. Sometimes moving the ice maker in and out of the cabinet will trigger on/off events. After several hard resets these types of issues continue but long story short it won’t stay powered on longer than a few ice drop cycles. Drain pump still works as normal.

Hi Bret, thank you for getting in touch. Based on the description, we concluded that the issue is with the electronic control board, part number PS11750683. The electronic control board manages the functions of the ice maker such as freezing and slicing the slab of ice, and dropping cubes into the ice container. You may need to replace the control board to fix the issue. We hope this solves your problem!
