remove upper rack & replace one item at a time

My husband and I are both very mechanical but found this repair confusing and difficult. No instructions on how to remove old parts and when I called service department was told parts had come from the manufacturer and they had no idea. Like a puzzle in reverse we finally were able to get the old parts off. The instructions for installing ... Read more the new parts were confusing and the pictures blurred and not much help. I suspect they were poor photocopies from a service manual. That said, once we figured out how to install the first side the other side went smoothly and the repair was successful. The replacement parts are of substantially better quality (stainless steel) than the original plastic ones.

Had trouble finding my model dishwasher so i called Part Select and we were able to identify the same parts from a newer model. Repair was to replace the entire spray arm assembly, it went well with no problems.
