I may need to remove the glass top to this model to gain access to parts wp74010857 & 858. Can you instruct me on how to remove the glass top? Thanks, gary
For model number JGD8430ADS
Hello Gary, Thank you for your inquiry. To replace the glass top on this unit you will need to remove the burners. You will then need to lift the vent grill off and remove the screws on the inside of the duct then lift out unit from the cabinet. Then remove the screws around the perimeter of the cooktop to remove the top. Hope this helps!

igniter sparks all the time when burner is on
For model number JGD8430ADB14
Hi Ed, thank you for reaching out. We have researched your model and found that sometimes a burner cap that’s not resting properly on top of the head can cause the burner to spark continuously. It may need to be readjusted. If it is fine then the issue is most probably with the Igniter Switch, part number PS11744416 or Spark Module, part number PS11744407. Customer service is available 7 days a week if you require assistance placing an order. Thanks again for reaching out!
