Lid Switch Actuating Cam W10814230

This is a replacement lid switch actuating cam for your washer. The cam is located on the underside of the washer lid, near the hinge. The cam actuates the lid switch, so your washer knows the lid is closed and can begin the cycle. The main reason you would want to replace the cam, is if it is broken, and therefore can’t actuate the lid to begin the cycle. The actuating cam is made of white plastic and is approximately 1 inch wide. It is sold individually, so be sure to determine if the cam is broken or if the problem is with the switch, or somewhere else on the washer.
