Clothes still wet after spin cycle, water pump already replaced
For model number MAV5057AWW
Hello Ken, thank you for getting in touch. The washer may struggle to spin and leave the clothes wet after the spin cycle if it is imbalanced or overloaded. This problem should be resolved by taking a few items out of the washer or balancing the load in the tub. Make sure the washer is not overloaded and that the load is balanced. Less water is removed from cycles with lower spin rates compared to cycles with higher spin speeds. Utilize the cycle or spin speed suggested for your garment. Suds will stop draining and spinning if there is too much detergent present. For your load, always measure and follow the detergent's instructions. Use HE detergent only. Also, check the drain pump. It could be clogged, kinked, or even positioned incorrectly. Make sure it is clean and installed properly. If the issue persists, replace the drain pump, part number PS11741799. We hope this helps.

WARNING (DO NOT TAKE THE SCREWS ALL THE WAY OUT OR THE BRAKE ASSEMBLY WILL RELEASE AND A SPECIAL TOOL IS NEEDED TO PUT IT BACK) Install the new ring, tighten the screws and put the tub back in connecting everything back up and use the 6 new springs. It really isn't that hard to do.
