MY WASHER MAKES A CLICKING NOISE WHILE IN USE AND AGGITOR DOES NOT MOVE. CLOTHES ARE NOT ENTIRLEY CLEANED. IS THERE A SOLUTION TO MY PROBLEM.
THANKS
For model number WTW5005KW0
Hello Des, thank you for your inquiry. Based on the description that you have provided, we would recommend checking the shift actuator, part number PS11769864, to fix the issue. If the washer is not agitating and is making a clicking noise, the actuator may be faulty. We hope this sorts out your problem!

When spinning it sounds like metal to metal grinding and wobbling I made sure the washer was to the T level. I put new basket springs and hub, still grinding. Could it be the bearings?
For model number WTW5005KW0
Hello Darrick, Thank you for contacting us. It could be the bearings on the tub, the drive pulley or gearcase, but we also recommend checking the impact absorbers as well. We hope this helps you.

Washer has a loud constant sound during the spin cycle.
For model number WTW5005KW0
Hello Jess, thank you for getting in touch. Check the drive transmission or gear case assembly, part number PS16220911. It might be worn out or defective. They have gears in them which can fail, causing the washer to be noisy during operation. Check the clutch assembly, part number PS10057144. The clutch assembly makes the connection between the transmission and the inner tub. If the clutch or its components are worn out, the washer will make loud noises. You will also need to check the drive belt, part number PS12578772. The belt gets loose over time due to damage or wear and tear, which can cause loud noise. We hope this helps.

Noise, grinding sounds. Wash tub stopped turning but motor and cycles kept functioning. Process of elimination, must be the clutch assembly.
Easy, just followed the repair video. Recommend also ordering the drive belt. Bought one locally during my repair.

Hub had warn its grooved teeth off and washer wouldnt agitate
ordered hub and it shipped quickly. I was able to put the hub in place and screw the screws in. you want to tighten them down slowly and go around to each screw tightening a little at a time so you don't break the hub. as you tighten the screws down the hub slides down flush. its impossible to just push the hub on with your hand.
