All Installation Instructions for Whirlpool Range WLP83800

Large element was only heating partially.

First I turned off the power. Next I disconnected the downdraft vent. Then I removed the cooktop knobs and turned it upside down on the counter. I then removed about 12 screws to remove the element housing. I then unsnapped the old element, disconnected the 3 wires, replaced it with the new element, replaced the housing and screws. I replaced the cooktop, reconnected the downdraft hose and turned on the power.

oven light burnt out

1. Unscrewed glass cover on bulb
2. Removed old bulb
3. Screwed in new bulb
4. Replaced glass cover
5. Mixed drink & baked cupcakes

broken inside glass

After reading what other people did for this job I figured I could do this. The inside glass broke after liquid accidently hit the glass from basting.
Just followed the digram from the internet to show how the door and glass comes apart. The only thing I had to figure out was how to take the door off. And once I figured that out it went pretty easy.
The door comes off just by lifting up on the door and pulling out. Just make sure you put all your parts in order on how they come apart and just replace them them in that order.

The large burner had quit on smooth top range.

We removed 4 screws that let us raise the top of the stove. It was then very easy for my husband to remove the old burner and replace the new one. By ordering this part from you and installing it ourselves, we saved $248 from the quote we received from our "Maytag Repairman". Can't beat a deal like this and it was so easy.

burner element shorted out

received the part sooner than expected, all of the holes lined up, for being the first time working on a stove it could not have gone any better

Inside Light would not work

Turned off CB for the oven,Remove the oven from the cabinet , remove the back of the oven, replaced the light Assembly. turned on CB for the oven, tested the light. and truned off the CB and replace the back and reinstalled the oven in the cabinet.

Block broke

Unplug power cord, remove wires from block. take 2 screws out. replace with new block about 15 mins. Done

light bulb went out in my oven

My husband took the plastic cover off and took out old bulb and screwed in the new one. Then put the cover back on.

one switch on top of oven

Repair went well. In a matter of less than 30 minutes the switch was installed and power to element turned on.

Bulb Replacement

I pulled down the wire around the glass cover. . . Released on end of the wire from its holder being careful to not let the glass cover drop. Unscrewed the bulb and replaced with replacement. Easy, easy.
