First I unplugged the oven from the wall. Then I removed the two screws that hold the element in place. I then pulled the element out about 3 inches and disconnected the two wires. The installation process was just as easy as the removal. Approx 10 minutes and I was cooking. BTW, the heating element was at my house the next day after ordering. Great service

diagnosed repair by installing heating element from lower oven into upper oven, and it worked. Ordered proper replacement part and installed using tools above. No problem besides the tight space.

Removed the oven shelves. Removed two small screws in back of oven. Gently pulled out element to get to two other small screws connecting the element and removed them. Removed old element. Placed new element in oven connected the two screws to the element. Replaced two screws on back of oven. Replaced the shelves. That's all there was to it.

I have to tell you i got wrong partfirst it was my mistake I got on phone and the lady understood my problem and told me procedure of returning part I got the right partnext day. I watched the video on how to do the job,although O new how. The video was a wee bit off,from what was easy.The man doing the talk through repair showed detaching the connections and bending each one back s as to not go back inside there inclosure. The connectors were way short on this one .The only way to attach the element was to take off back cover and push them together back there. Took couple extra minutes ,but job don e Ps will be ordering something soon

I disconnected the 240 volt supply by removing the fuses from the fuse panel. Next I removed two screws that hold the element in place with a nutdriver. Then being careful not to short or ground the wires I pulled the element out 3 or 4 inches and turned the oven control to the on position and tested for voltage, line to line then each line to ground to be sure the correct fuses were pulled. Turned the controls back to off. Next I disconnected the wires using the same nutdriver and removed the old element.
I placed the new element in the oven, attached the wires using a screwdriver backing it up with pliers to hold the connector on the element, then slid the element into position and installed the two screws in the back of the oven, then reinstalled the fuses.

Repair went fine after I got the second element shipped to me. First element sent was DOA, so I called customer service and they credited my CC for part cost and shipping, then charged the new replacement to my account and mailed it out. Got it the next day. Repair was easy - turned off power to oven took out two screws holding element in place. Unbolted the two wires from element and installed new element. Oven element heated up cherry red and I am back to baking with an oven I thought was a gonner. Was impressed with customer service replacement process. It was fast and easy with no problems. This is a forty five year old oven. It was only four screws and it was done. The new part works like a champ! This save me from buying a $800.00 replacement. I removed the two 1/4 screws holding the element to the back of the oven and then took the flat head screws loose from the terminals on the old element. I then put everything back as it came out; took less than 5 minutes and the part arrived overnight! Thank you again!!

Use nut driver to take off shield. Pull out element to expose element and wire connections. Use nut driver to take off the 2 little screws. Remember what side is positive(red wire) and what side is negative(black wire). Put shield over the 2 wire and reconnect to element. Will need a standard screwdriver for the new screws. Slide wires into insulation and put back on shield.

Replaced lower element

First I removed the two screws that hold the element in place. I then pulled the element out about 3 inches and disconnected the two wires. Attached the wires to the new heating element, screwed it back in. That's it.
I was glad they had the part for such an old oven.

Just pull out the current element and plug-in the new one. Part was received in 24 hours.

First , for safety, I flipped breakers to kitchen applicances to cut off the power. Removed the 2 screws that held the old element in place. Pulled it out a couple of inches and disconnected the 2 wires attached to the prongs of the element. Reattached them to the new element, pushed it back in and replaced the screws. Turn power back on and voila! ... was ready to bake again! All this is a matter of 15 mins!

First I took out the oven racks removed two screws then I pulled it out a couple of inches to expose the wires and removed the screw. Put the new element in place and replaced the two screws put the wires back and replaced the two screws that hold the element in place.
My stove is over 40 years old matching the 40's - 50's style decor. in my kitchen if I had to replace the entire stove for a reproduction the cost would have been substantually more.
I didn't even have to ask my husband to do this it was easy enough to do myself.
